    Frequently asked questions

    • How long are the lessons? A half hour is most common, but we do offer longer if requested.
    • I don't have an instrument yet, can we still have lessons?  We have spare guitars available to borrow during lesson time if needed for a few sessions.
    • Drums - Initially we don't require you to have a full drum kit, most beginners start with a practice pad        and work from a book, focussing on theory and practice of Rhythm.
    • Piano/Keyboard - We'd recommend starting off with a basic keyboard to maximise learning. Low budget    keyboards are available at most music shops.
    • Can we meet our tutor before we book in? A trial lesson can be booked before you commit to the full term of lessons. This initial lesson costs $35 for the half hour (this is deducted from the full term cost should you wish to continue.
    • How much does a term of lessons cost? We keep tuition fees at an affordable rate, our prices are reasonable within market rates. Get in touch with us over email and we can send you more information.
    • What hours are you open? Can we drop in and check you out? We are not open to the public, and don't have reception facilities on site. If you want to meet us, please book a trial lesson.
    • Our studios operate from 3.30pm during weekdays, and most hours on Sundays.
    • If we start part way into a term of lessons, do we still have to pay the full term fees? In this case, an individual invoice will be issued, taking into account lessons remaining within the term.
    • Have a question that's not answered here? Send us an email and we'd be happy to help you further.
